Hoot Gibson appears at tho Quean's Theatre- in "The Buckaroo Kid " to bo screened finally. to-night, in which jie takes the' part of Ed. Harley, a young ranch assistant -Uie popular star, in order to show that lie is capable, makes several promises all of which he fulfils. Harley inhwits' the ranch of his late'employer, but seeks to obtain a sum of money to restock it Failing in his endeavours.to obtain the money he places the blame for his non-success on ins employer, who had'threatened that he would stop him getting it. Howevei- he succeeds in the end with the help of Ethel Shannon, tho leading lady. Supporting this picturp is a comedy and gazette. Starting to-morrow,' Douglas Mac Lean «v ii mf elf l n. a ? ew Paramount comedy, Hold Ihat Lion," at the Queen's Theatre. iYlacLean has a good comedy foil in the Votund person of Walter Hiers who returns to the screen as a featured player llie story concerns the pursuit of a vounc .lady by Doug, and Walter to the four corners of the globe. "Hold That Lion" is said to be one of the funniest comedies seen in Wellington for a long time.
