LIMITED DEMAND FOR LAMB.
Messrs. Dalgcty and Company, Ltd., report naving received the following cablegram from their London house, under date ot the 3rd February:—"Lamb: New Zealand prime crossbred lamb, North Island, light, new season's, 10% d; heavy, 9d; any change in market is in favour of buyers. Limited demand. Mutton: New Zealand prime crossbred mutton, North Island, light, new season's, 7d; heavy, 6d; market dull but stocks are light; moderate demand. Beef: New Zealand prime ox beef, 1"ml1'-if d,; i or<i s ' 3V2d- Plellti£«l suppliea or chilled beef continue at low-prices. ALarket nominal. Australian frozen meatUood average quality crossbred lamb, light' 7%d; market weak.. Poor demand. Good average quality crossbred mutton, light, 4%d; market very dull, limited demand, Fork: Maiket unchanged."
