INDIANS ARRIVE
CIVIC RECEPTION,
The party of North American Indians which is travelling through New Zealand, in connection with the screening' of the Paramount film, "The "Vanishing Sace," to be shown at the Eegent Theatre this evening, arrived in Wellington from the North to-day, and proceeded through tho city, preceded by a brass band, to the Towa Hall, whero the Mayor, Mr. C. B. Norwood, accorded a civio reception. It had been intended to hold the function in the Concert Chamber, but so large was the crowd that a last minute arrangement had to bo m^de and the main hall opened. The Mayor assured the members of the party of Wellington's real interest in their visit, as also did Councillor W. H. Bennett. Mr. H. D. Williams, who is in charge of the party, and Chief Blooming Flower made suitable replies. Mr. 2". Bernard Page was at the organ.
