KARORI CLUB

Th 9 Karori Rifle Club held a flold day at Trentham ou Saturday, and flrod a competition over all ranges from 300 to 1000 yards. Tho weather conditions were tricky, with occasional good periods of which the marksmen took full advantage. The competition attracted a comparatively large number of entrants, Including Mr. J. Caughley, a former vice-pre-sident, of the. club. The highesf. aggregate scores were made by P. W. Ching and H. V. 1 Croxton, each with 186 points, the former winning on the count-back. The winning scores in the handicap class were made by Mr. M'Whlrter and L. J. MTielvle. Itifleman Sl'Whirter also made the^highest score off the rifle over the long ranges. Results:— Short Long.
