A complete series of games was played in all grades, play starting in the morning. The senior grade games were played in the absence of Wellington representative players, who were in Auckland. In most of th« matches there were outstanding performances, as the foregoing list indicates. Three centuries were recorded: by D. Patrick (for Midland), H. E. Nicholls (for Petone), arid H.. Baumber (for Institute). J. R. Lamason (Y.MICiA.) also scored heavily in two visits to the crease. Four bowlers were successful in taking six wickets in one innings, and two others took five. The wins were all three-point-ers, being registered by Hutt, Petone, Institute, Thorndon, and Midland. With five series of matches now completed the senior championship points are as follow: Hutt, 16; Petone, 11; Institute, 7; V.M.C.A., 7; University, 7; Kilbirnie, 6; Old Boys, 6; Midland, 6; Thorndon, 6; Wellington, 6.
