At. the invitation of the Manawatu, Hawkes Bay, Forty-mile Bush, and Wairarapa branches of the New Zealand factory Managers' Association, a number of officials of dairy,companies are at present m Wellington for the purpose of attending a grading conference ni.« *mv r?i ng •an ins Pection took place of butter and cheese in the Cooperative Producers' Freezing Company's store at Pipitea Point. This was followed by a grading competition tor managers and assistants, prizes for which have been donated by the Producers' Freezing Company and the National Dairy Association. The result of the competition will be announced later This afternoon a conference will be held in the Dominion Farmers' Institute^and addresses will be delivered by the Director-General, of Agriculture (Dr. C. J. Eeakes), the Director of the Dairy Division (Mr. W. M. Singleton) and other departmental officers. •
