The Hon. J. A. Young, Minister of Health, returned from the: South this morning. ; . . •

The Minister of Public Works (the Hon. K. S. Williams) will leave for the North Auckland-district next Tuesday afternoon. He will visit the Otamatea, ; Hobson, Whangarei, and Bay of Islands districts, and probably will return to Wellington about 12th February. Sir Wjliam Hall-Jones, M.L.C., was a. passenger by the Wahine from Lyttelton to-day.

Mr. and Mrs. G. D. Greenwood, Teviotdale, Christchurch. arrived by the Wahine this morning.
