SOME GOOD PRICES BEALISBD,
_ The New Zealand yearling sales were inaugurated at Trentham to-clay, there being a big crowd, but bidding was slow, and only the choice lots excited any real competition. Mr. Ken Austin (of H. Chisholm and Co., Sydney) who with Wright, Stephenson, and Co (of Wellington), were the auctioneers concerned, occupied the rostrum. Up to the luncheon adjournment he expressed himself as well satisfied as to the progress of the sale. . ■
