Shy-As a ratepayer on Wellington Te--KSfa cordl r all, y c"dorse the remarks, of Piofessor Mackenzie regarding the dust nuwance on Ikelburn parade and The Terrace, and I would suggest that the Mayor and as many councillors as can conveniently make the trip, should pay a visit to those important thoroughfares during the prevalence of the present northerly winds and see for themselves what the residents m this part of the city have to endure j CSe aye P°Pul<n»< residential areas and the volume of traffic is so considerable, surely the bituminising of The Terrace and the Kelburn parade is lone overdue. It is to be hoped tne councillors will bestir themselves, do something to abate the intolerable dust nuisance and earn the appreciation of householders in thisxquarter of Wellington.—l am, etc..
