• The Lyall Bay Beach gaJa in aid of the litVsaviug clubs will be brought to a close on Saturday night, when a special effort is being made to,attract a record crowd. On Saturday afternoon envelopes will be handed out to children as they arrive on the scene, and the 'lucky ones will call on F.atber Neptune to collect a trophy. All the side-shows will be working, including the merry-go-round and the ocean waves. On Saturday evening a busy time is expected in the big marquee. The. fox trot championship of Wellington will be held, and the Black and White Trio will then entertain the audience with, music and song. This combination is well known to Wellington audiences, and charges of theft, on one of which h« had will be supplied free to picnic parties.
