MIRAMAR TOURNAMENT
TO BE CONCLUDED ON SATURDAY,
It was found impossible to conclude the Miramar tournament yesterday, and as a consequence, several finals will be played-off at Miramar, commencing at 1 p.m. on Saturday. The men's championship singles was won by L. France, who beat E. B. W. Smyth in the semi-final, 6-2, 3-6, 6-3,. and easily disposed of W. P. Hollings in the final, 6-3, 7-5, 6-2. The mixed championship doubles resulted in a win for Smyth and Miss Tracy. Most of the matches have now reached the semi-final, stage, and, weather permitting, should easily be finished on Saturday.
