AULD LANG SYNE BALL

A special attraction in Wellington on New Year's Eve is announced in the form of an "Auld Lang Syne Ball," which will be held in three big halls simultaneously—the Town Hali, Concert Chamber, and Navals' Hall (which stands close to tho Municipal Buildings). This notable event, the first of its kind to be held in Wellington, is being promoted by the Artillery and Community Club Queen Committees conjointly in aid of their respective candidates, and nothing is boing left undone to make it a conspicuous success, first-class orchestras having been engaged. The dancing in the main hall will be under the control of Mr. J. A. Smyth, and each hall will be specialy staffed to ensure of patrons enjoying a most happy time. Further particulars will be announced next week.
