LODGE MEETING
The quarterly meeting of the Loyal Newtown Lodge, Manchester Unity, Independent Order of Oddfellows, was held in St. Thomas's Lodgeroom, Newtown, last week, when Bro. A. G. Wilson, N.G., presided oyer a large attendance of members. All members are urged to attend at the Clyde quay rooms to-morrow night, when the judge's report and presentation of the ritual shield will, be made. The election of officers for the next six months resulted:— N.G., Bro. A. D. Johnston; T.G., Bro. Storey; E. Sec, Bro. Eadee; guardian, Bro. Johns; warden, Bro. Owens; conductors, Bros. Bland and O. Wilson; L. Master, Bro. R. Bell; sick visitors, Bros. Durableton and M'Gulre; auditors, Bros. H. Bell and G. Wilson; K.S.N.G., Bro. M'Guire; L.S.N.G., Bro.lCoveney; R.S.V.G., Bro. W. Harris; L.S.V.G., Bro. H. Bromley; elective sec, Bro. W. Reeve. The district officers are to be Invited along to next week's meeting to Install the new officers.
