MINIATURE RIFLES
The annual social evening and presentation of prizes of the Pott Nicholson Ladles' Blfle Club took place at the Harbour Board Range on Thursday, when office-bearers and friends of members of the club were entertained by the ladies. Apologies for absence were received from President A. G. Barnett and Vicepresident G. Mitchell. Progressive euchre was played during the early part of the evening, the prize-winners belne Hiss Gordon and Mr. T. M'Gill. The presentation of trophies won during the season then took place, Vice-presi-dent B. D. Alexander making the presentation to the following:—Club champion, Miss L. Harper (Patron H. E. Nicholls' trophy); run-ner-up club championship, Mrs. P. Congreve (Patron H. E. Nlcholls's trophy). B grade champion, Miss L. K. Me&chen (Vice-president A. G. Barnett's trophy); runner-up B grade championship, Mrs. Otton (Patron H. E. Nieholls's trophy). Highest average in Interclub matches, Misa L. Harper (Miss K. Ashenden's trophy). Consolation prize, A grade, Mtss E. M'Guire (Miss L. Harper's trophy). No. 1 Handicap, Miss K. Levy 1 (Vice-presi-dent Paton'g trophy); Mr». Murphy 2 (Mrs. Otton's trophy). Mo. I Handicap, Miss K. Otton, as a token of esteem and appreciation of the valuable services rendered by him as coach. Dancing was indulged in until a late hour, when a very enjoyable evening was brought to a close.
