"FIELDEN TAYLOR DAY"
FOR MOTHERLESS BABIES' HOME.
A meeting of the Babies' Home Campaign Committee was held last evening, the chairman, Mr. Frank Hurley, presiding. Encouraging reports were received from various districts regarding efforts being made on behalf of the fund. Preparations for the "Fielden Taylor" Street Day, on Friday next, 10th December, are well in hand. In addition to three stands in the city already published, the following have been arranged:— Kelburn, Mrs. Carroll; Hataitai, Mrs. M. Scott; Lyall Bay, Mrs. F. J. Jivans; Kilbirnie, Mrs. E. T. Taylor; Brooklyn, Mrs. W. C. Webb; X irori, Mrs. R. B. Williams; Wadestown, Mrs. M. D; Thomson; Northland, Mrs. Macindoe; Newtown, Mr. Gilbertson and party from St. Cuthberts' Church; Lower Hutt, Mrs. W. T. Strand (Mayoress); Eastbourne, Mrs. H. M. Jones (Mayoress). The committee would be glad if anyone wishing to help on the day would communicate with the ladies named, as more helpers would be welcome.
