The Department of Health has received the following notifications of cases of infectious diseases iv the hospital districts of the Wellington Health District for the week ending yesterday (the figures for the previous seven days being given in parentheses):— Taranaki-Horowhimua. —Scarlet fever, 5 (2); diphtheria, b' (8); enteric fever, I (0); tuberculosis, 1 (1); erysipelas, 1 (0); pneumonia, 2 (2); puerperal fever, 1 (0). Wairarapa-East Cape.—Scarlet fever, 3 (1); diphtheria, 4 (0); enteric fever, 5 (6); tuberculosis, 1 (2); pneumonia, 2 (i); erysipelas, 0 (1). Central- Wellington.—Scarlet fever, 7 (9); diphtheria, 3 (1); tuberculosis, 2 (0); puerperal fever, 3 (0); enteric fever, 0 (11: pneumonic influenza, 0 (1). Nelson-Marlborougli.—Diphtheria, 0 (2).
