WELLINGTON STOCK EXCHANGE.

At the annual meeting of the Wellington Stock Exchange, held on Friday last, Mr. R. Wynn Klrkby, who has held the office of chairman since 1919 was re-elocted unopposed. The other retiring office-bearers, Mr. W. F. Sloman (vice-chairman) and Messrs. G. Thome George and W. G. Morpeth (members of the committee), wore also returned unopposed. The vacancy on the committee caused by the death of Mr. C. E. Finch was filled by tho election of Mr. A. S. MacShano. The territory under the jurisdiction of the Wellington Exchange is extensive; beginning In Taranaki, It takes In also the Wellington, Hawkes Bay, Marlborough, and tho northern part of Nelson provinces. The total number on tho membership roll Is 06—2T city and 39 country members. This total Is larger than that of any of the other stock exchanges in the Dominion.
