From tho report of tho Walhl, GoMnilnliiß Company for the four-weekly period ended 25th September is taken the following remarks on the three lowest levels: — "No. 15 Level.—The west drive was nontinucd in tho footwall country of the Martha lode to C 42y 3 foet. "No. 14 Level.—Edward Lode: The south drive was continued to 355 V 2 feet. Tho, average assay value from 335 to 351 feet is 20s 7d per ton. Sprat winze was commenced at 163 feet and is down six feet. Royal Lode West of Dunlop S.E. Crosscut: The drive was carried to 211 feet. The width varied from three to five feet, and the assay value was low. Work here is stopped. "No. 13 Level.—Trout S.E. Crosscut was extended to 401 feet. On the Koyal Lode, at 375 feet in, driving was done for 32% feet; the value was low and driving is. stopped. Empire Lode at 90 feet In Trout S.E. Crosscut: Driving East was done for 12 feet in a mixture of quartz and country, the assay value for this distance being 6s Id per ton. Westward 49 feet was driven. The average assay value to 30 feet is 14s 4d per ton." No development of special Interest Is mentioned at the other levels.
