THE RESULTS OF EVENTS.
The final sports events, which were to have been held on parents' day at the Wellington Girls' College on Saturday, had to be abandoned owing to the wet weather. Miss Greig, the principal, in addressing the gathering, said that they regretted the parents had not been able to witness the sports. Owing to the late date of tho gymnastic display, it had been necessary to combine the sports and the annual exhibition of work, and many of the tormer events had been run off during the week. The results of events decided so far, and the successful competitors at the swimming sports, are as follow:— SWIMMING SPORTS. Senior Championship.—S. Breen, 14 points: Ist 75 yards, let headers, Ist swim on back. 2nd 50 yards breaststrolce, Ist 50 yards. liun-ner-up—Nancy Webber, 5 points; Ist 50 yards breaststroke, 2nd swim on back.
