ASSOCIATION FOOTBALL
THE CANADIAN TOUR. The tour of Canadian Association footballers was considered at a recent meetin"- of the New Zealand Football Association, when it ivas stated that the tour would cost between £7000 and £8000. The team will leave Vancouver on _ 4th May, ariving at Auckland on 23rd May, and' will leave Auckland for home on'2nd August. The itinerary is as follows:— May 23rd, 1927 —Arrive at Auckland. May 25th.—Against AVanganui. May 28th.—Against Manawatu. June. Ist.—Against Taranaki. June 3rd.—Against AArelli"gton. June 4th.June Sth—Against Nelson. June llth—Against Buller. June lath.—Against AVestland. June ISth.—Otago. June 22nd.—Southland. June 25th—First Test, Dunedin. June 29th.—Against Canterbury. July 2nd—Second Test, Christchurch. July (ith—Against Masterton. July 9th.—Third Test, AVellington. July 13th.—Against Napier. July 16th.—Against Poverty Bay. July 20th.—Against South Auckland. July 23rd.—Against Auckland. July 27th.—Against North Auckland. July 30th.—Fourth Test, Auckland. August 2nd.—Leave Auckland. Tho council has asked the Canadian Association to agree to playing a match against Marlborough ou 7th June, in which case the match set down for Bth June against Nelson will be played on Thursday, 9th June.
