EMBARGO ON WHEAT
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) / - ASHBURTON, 19th Nov. The mid-Canterbury executive of the Farmers' Union appointed a deputation to -wait on the Hon. Downie Stewart to urge a further embargo on ■wheat and flour imports, also to protest against the woolbrokers' charge of Is a bale for interlotting.
