The "Daily News" says that Mr. Lloyd George has unconditionally offered to place the whole of the interest

G. LLOYD GEORGE.

which has been seeking a method of .re-establishing Liberal unity, especially in regard to finance and organisation. It proposes the establishment of a new management committee agreeable to all parties under a neutral chairman.

For some time there was a disagreement between Mr. Lloyd George and the Earl of Oxford over the question of the funds of the Liberal Party, amounting to more than £1,000,000. Mr. Lloyd George had refused to relinquish control of tho funds.
