MRS. WESTOM LADIES' CHAMPION 5 FINALS AT HEBETAUNGA. A closely contested match resulted from the meeting at Heretaunga yesterday afternoon of Mrs. Weston and Mrs. Sclanders in the final of the Wellington Ladies' Golf Club. The game was not decided until the 20th hole had been played, where Mrs. Weston achieved victory. The winner's long game was good throughout, but'as often as not Mrs. Sclanders held the advantage on and near the greens. The scores were: Mrs. Weston: Out, 434446673—41; in, 4465533547—46. Mrs. Sclanders: Out, 573535565—-44; in, 557434445—41. In the semi-finals Mrs. Weston beat Mrs. Marehbanks 4 and 3, and Mrs. Sclanders beat Mrs. Stout 4 and 3. The championship of the junior divis-. ion went to Miss Dyer, who beat Miss B. Marehbanks by 4 and 3.
