AUCKLAND, This Day. A firo last night destroyed An* rooms of a nine-roomed house in Park road, divided into two flats. The lady occupants discovered the fire in a portion leased by an absent tenant, boi it had too good a hold for the Newmnrket Brigade to save the building. Efforts were concentrated on preventing it spreading to the other sid« of the house, and this was accomplished. All the furniture was removed from five rooms, which, ■were aligh^y damaged by water only.
