(By Telegraph.) (Special to "The Evening Post.")

AUCKLAND, This Day. In view of the fact that three loan proposals for the erection of municipal offices for Hamilton have been rejected by the ratepayers, the Borough Council last evening adopted an expedient designed U> meet the situation for the year. It has been decided to rent a motor gapage in the vicinity of the present offices, and use this for the Engineering Department, sell for removal the present engineer's office, and carry on the Town Clerk's Department in the present municipal buildings.
