The Department will take over from Wednesday next. Negotiations are also proceeding with •a view to the pnrchase of the buses of another company running on the same route. The Department's and directors' ideas of the value of the buses in this ease are rather widely separated, and in consequence the directors "are referring the matter to their shareholders. •
