INJURED BY PREMATURE EXPLOSION

WHANGAREI, 4th November.
P. Sherman and A. Taylor, while engaged in road making at Awarua Gorge in Upper Mangakahia, were injured by the premature explosion of a dynamite charge this morning and were brought to the Whangarei Hospital late this afternoon. Sherman's eyes were injured, but the sight is not affected. The other man was hurt about tho arms and chest.
