GRAMOPHONE IN COWSHED
RESULTS IN INCREASED YIELD,

PARIS, 3rd November. Following Canadian experiments a dairy farmer at Auxerre installed a gramophone in the cowshed and milkod his cows to the sound of music. The output increased 20 per cent. Later the cowb were milked a second time to melodies. Each cow responded with an additional pint.
