STATEMENT CHALLENGED

(By Telegraph.) (Special to "Tha Evening Post.")

AUCKLAND, This Day. Mr. W. C. Watts, managing director of the East Tajnaki Co-operative Dairy Company, Limited, in a letter to the Press, challenges the Hon. O. J. Hawken to prove or withdraw the following statement published yesterday:— "All this talk about price-fixing is nonsense. There was never any suggestion of it when I was on the board, and there hag been no departure as far as I am aware from that policy."
