' The outside of the course proper and outside three trestles was available for fast work at Ellerslie this morning. The weather was fine and the track in good order. Tukia ran the last four of five furlongs in 52 3-seec, and appears to be very well. Quincoma beat Gala Day over six furlongs in lmin 21 4-ssec. Chairman ran five furlongs in lmin 15see, and Serang four furlongs in lmin 2sec, neither being bustled. Lysander galloped five furlongs comfortably in lmin 11 3-ssec. White Bird ran half a mile in 52 2-ssec, Ruanui and Mountain Prince taking 02 3-ssec for the same distance. . Muscari and Danae did five ■ furlongs in lmin Csec. / Barometer, Ruapapa, Aurumavis, and Boomerduy galloped a mile in lmin 47 ?-ssee. Barometer and Ruapapa were in front at the finish. Master Mind beat Salamander, Template, Wonder Star, and Nassock over six furlongs in lmin 24 2-ssec. Master Doon was in front of Abbey Day and The Lamb over four furlongs in 53 l-ssec. Mandane beat Mask and Star. Ranger by several lengths over a round in 2min 4 4-ssec. Merry Damon and True Blood were in front of Gold Fern over six furlongs, covered in lmin 21 l-ssec. Nucleus and Tresham were on terms at the end of a mile, run in lmin 50sec. Te Kara and Mint Leaf were together in front of Te Monanui at the end of a round, which took 2min 8 3-Ssec. Gold Jacket easily beat Kamehameha over a round in 2min 12scc. Tall Timber and Charlady went six furlongs in lmin 22sec. Papatu beat Rahepoto over six furlongs in lmin 23 4-ssee. Merry Jest, alone, galloped six furlongs in lmin 22 l-ssec. Archibald was in front of Pavo over six furlongs, in lmiii 21 l-osec> Schorr taking lmin 24 4-ssec. Dave ran four furlongs in 53 2-ssec. Quondong and Clams were in front of Newbury over six furlongs, in lmin 21see. After breakfast, Royal Form ran round in i2min 7sec. Archeno did four furlongs in 53scc. Chamour went six furlongs in lmin 21sec. Mis 3 Astron was in front of Clockwork and Whetuhine at the end of six furlongs, covered in lmin 24 4-ssec. Tinp Maunga went four furlongs in 53 2-osec. Flowing Bowl and Tom Moore covered five furlongs in lmin Bsec. Zane Grey went three furlongs in 40 l-ssec. . ' . Thursby and Pompey were on terms at the end of five furlonga, in lmin 6sec. Marsurd was in front of Aurcculus, with Segment third, over half a mile, covered in 52 l-ssec. Nancy Lee sprinted three furlongs but was not timed. Glenotus and Dimlight went together over a round in 2min IS) 2-ssec. Jumpere, Uralla, and Day Bell jumped four hurdles, giving a good display. Quinvardia performed fairly well over four pony hurdles. Peter Amans, Indemnity, and Torch finished in that order over a round of the big fences, including the hill.
