MEAT PRODUCERS' BOARD
MR. 11. D. ACLAND APPOINTI7.D.
Mr. H. D. Acland, of Christchurch, has been appointed producers' representative on the New Zealand Meat Producers' Board, to fill the vacancy caused by the death of Mr. J. C. N. Grigg.
Mr. Acland is a son of the late Hon. J. B. Acland, at one time a member of the Legislative Council, and is wtjll known throughout the Dominion, and especially in Christchurch, where he has" practised as a barrister and solicitor for many years. He was educated at Christ's College and at Christ's Church, Oxford, ahd was admitted as a Barrister at Law at Inner Temple in 1891. He is a meihber of,the New Zealand University Senate, is chairman of the Board of Governors of Canterbury College, and in 1924 he was chairman of the Railways Board of Inijuirj.
