SECRET CHAMBERS
BENEATH GERMAN FORTS
BREACH OF VERSAILLES TREATY
DISCOVERIES IN EAST PRUSSIA.
(United Press Association.—Copyright.) (Received 3rd November, 10 a.m.) LONDON, 2nd November. "It will undoubtedly give pause to those urging the withdrawal of the Allied Control Commission," says the Berlin correspondent of the "Daily Mail," reporting the discovery of 54 enormous secretly-constructed reinforced concrete underground chambers, strengthening tho fortress of Konigsborg, in East Prussia. "Subterranean chambers were also discovered near the Prussian Fortress of Kustrin. The work was so new, the material used was still moist, and the approaches were so cleverly hidden that it was impossible to detect them. It is a clear breach of the Versailles Treaty."
