WELLINGTON PRESBYTERY

The monthly meeting of the Wellington Presbytery was held last evening, the Rev. C. J. Loan, Moderator, presiding. It was decided to favourably recommend to the General Assembly the application of the Rev. W. M. Marsh, formerly of South Africa, for admission as a minister of the church in New Zealand. The committee appointed to consider the question o£ holding services at Otaki reported that lit desired to make further inquiries. The question of the Seatoun-Karaka Bay church fund was referred to the church property trustees. A motion of sympathy with the'relatives of the late Mr. P. Pirani was carried.
