An interesting and valuable display of superior pumiee;Concriete products is made at the present Manawatu Show by Hudson's Concrete Company, Ltd., of Terrace End. The exhibition is certainly attracting a great' deal of attention from all sections of the community. This is a New Zealand industry that you can safely assist in fostering because the products are essential to every home in the Dominion. Take Hudson's patent portable reinforced pumice-concrete washing; boiler frames for instance. Because ot.its patented design this famous boiler) possesses advantages which cannot,' be over-esti-mated. It is a well-known fact that pumice is a non-conductor of heat, and these copper boiler frames will produce twice the heat, with half of the fuel, in half tho time required; by any other copper, and, further, it retains the heat longer. This is a very definite assertion to make, but it has' been proved to be correct by actu'l ttets over and over again. Other Hudson products have earned an equal popularity with the Hudson boiler. At tie stand you will see many interesting lines, including a set of handsomely designed gate piers that would give yaur home entrance a tone and dignity that canno be otherwise had. Thp company's washing tubs also exhibited are not equalled for finish and general appearance. These have now entirely superseded the wooden structures of past times. Concrete always, gives better service than wooden tubs at vany time, besides being more sanitary and handier to the user.
