THREE MONTHS CAMPS
At the last meeting of the Wellington L.R.C. the opposition of the Auckland Council of Christian Churches to; the proposal for ithree months camps under the Defence Act was' unanimously endorsed, and a resolution was adopted expressing the opinion that the proposal was- a violation of the disarmament plan now before the League of Nations, of which New Zealand was a member, and -was strongly to be condemned as a move^ in the scheme entertained in high quarters to turn this/ country into a military State. ■■: -
