BROKEN BYLAWS

Breaches of the bylaws were dealt with by Messrs. E. Staples and D. H. Edgar, J.P.s, in the Magistrate's Court yesterday afternoon, For not having their ■ vehicles properly lighted, the following were fined: —Bex Stewart Carmony, Edward Keith Kirkcaldie, Leslie Middleton, Frederick Bussell, Sydney Colin Stichbury, Otto James Wilson, Charles Jones, fileach; Alfred Edward Clarke, Colin Clarke, Cyril Fleet, Albert Horsfall, Leslie James, Henry Murphy, Donald Toomer, 10s each. , Ernest Eoulston was fined £2 for allowing an unregistered motor-lorry to be used. ■ Failure to produce his motor-driver's license when asked to do so cost Clive Millanta 10s. For exceeding the speed limit Sydney Arthur Joyce was fined £3; John Bobert M'Kenzie, £2; Cyril Ernest Young, £5. Lan MacKay and Edward Keith Kirkcaldie were each fined £1 for leaving their motor-cars unattended. A fine of £1 was imposed on Bichard P. Wickenden for having no driver's license. , . „. Harry William Wood was fined £1 for failing to . attend drill.
