KAROItI CLUB.

The Karorl Rifle Club commenced its second fortnightuy competition ou Saturday, the ranges being 800 to 900 yards. Contrary to expectations, the weather conditions were favourable to high scoring, and eomo good shooting resulted. Rifleman T. H. R. Boon headed the list with the excellent total of 97, out of. 100, a score which has seldom been equalled at Trentham. The following aro the details:—

The members of the Upper llutt Rifle Club held tlie first shoot of the first championship series on Saturday. There was a Rood attendance of members in spite of the races, and some good scores were recorded. Rifleman C. Whiteuian secured a leg-in for Mr. H. Edward's trophy, and Rifleman G. Coker for Mr. A.
