INTERNATIONAL VAUDEVILLE.

It was difficult to find one weak spot in tlfe performance given at the Opera House last night by the J. C. Williamson International Vaudeville combination. It goes without saying that there was hardly one vacant seat in any part of the house. It would be difficult to individualise the merits of the various turns, for one and all, both grave and gay, were entertaining. The Monroe Brothers, by their clever absurdities, showed themselves as real artists. Hilda Nelson pleases with her soprano voice, Arthur Pond's nonsense is refreshingly clean, and Salerno astounds by his clever manipulation of objects of" diverse weight and size. He is the master juggler. Osborne and Perryer s adventures with a newly-purchased "automobile" cannot help to raise a, laugh. Ngaire and Tointon are experts with the xylophone, and Leah mystifies completely with her coffin trickery. It is impossible and yet it is done. Brian Lawrence, tenor, and Phyllis Dv Barry complete the bill. The four finalists in. the beauty contest also come in for their mead of hearty applause and approval from the audience.
