SCOTS COLLEGE
The Scots College sporte resulted in a very largo number of entries, and some very good times were recorded, four records being broken. Richardson ran the 100 yards in the junior championship in 12 2-ssec, lowering the record established by M. Brown in 1925 by a second. The fifth heat (championship) of the 220 yards (open) resulted in Cairna covering the distance in 24see, thus clipping four-fifths of a secODd offl the time of G. J. Tait in IS2I, and I. M'Leod in 1924. The 220 yards junior championship saw Richardson better by 2 4-ssec the time of 29 4-ssec created by M. Brown in 1925. In the mile handicap, which was decided on Thursday last, J. H. Webber, I from scratch, established a new record. Ho gained second place, but his time of 4min 53 3-10 sec lowered the record for the distance by 6 7-10 sec.
