SON COMES TO FATHER'S AID,

AUCKLAND, Ist. November.

Following an attack made by two men on a resident of Mount Edert on the evening of Saturday, 9th October, Eric Keith Hunter Taylor, aged 24 years, was found friiilty at the Supreme Court of assault. The men visited the complainant's home, and, without provocation, assaulted the complainant. While a struggle was in progress the son of the complainant came to the rescue of his father, and one of the men disappeared, but the son caught, Taylor and placed him in charge. Sentence was deferred.
