Messrs. George A. Bond and Co., Ltd., the Australian manufacturers of hosiery anil underwear, who have an establishment in Wellington, realised for the twelve months ended 30th June iast a net profit of £ 55/100. after the payment (if £15,020 for taxation. The amount brought forward is £44,8X0. Dividend of 10 per cent, oil the first preference shares absorbs £15,000, and 10 tier cent, on the second preference shares £10.812. The balance, £74,458, is to •bo carried forward. Paid-up capital at 30th .rune was £150,000, consisting of 150,000 first preference 10 per cent, shares, 150,000 second preference 10 per cent., shares, and 150,000 ordinary shares. The directors have decided to increase the nominal capital of ,tho company from £150,01)0 to £1,000,000 by'the creation nf 550,000 new shares of fl each, and have resolved to offer 150,000 8 per cent, cumulative third preforaiec shares nt par in the first instance to first and second preference shareholders. Ordinary shares to the number of 150,000 have been issued, and fully subscribed. The balance of the new shares is to be held in reserve.
