American market unchanged, but firm. Montreal, 34 cents, equal 152s 6d, c.i.f., Montreal. German market firmer; New Zealand quoted 153s Hamburg', ex duty, small iiuantites, fresh lamled; demand not yet appreciable.

"Cheese.—New Zealand, white, 86s to SSs; coloured, SSs to 87s. Canadian, Sfis to 00s; spot, S7s, c.i.f. Market firm. lietail unchanged." ■ ■

Tho hoard has also received tho following cablegram from its agent* in Canada,' dated 30th October, 1020 :—"Butter: Vancouver, 34% cents (Is 5%d) ; 'Frisco, 45 cents (Is 10% d) ; New York, 47% cents (Is llftd) ; Montreal, 33^ cents (Is 4%d). Cheese: Montreal, 17% cents (B%d). Factories closing early this year account low iwices."

Tho Bank of New Zealand, produce department, lias received the following advico from its London office, under date 29th October:—

"Butter: Steady; 144s to 148s per cwt. Cheese: Small stocks. White, 84s to SBs per cwt; coloured, 63s to 675."

Messrs. Dalgety and Company, Limited, report having received the following cablegram from their London House, under date of the Ist instant:—"Butter: Market steadier. ' Wo quote New Zealand finest salted 146s to 148s. Cheese: Market firm. New Zealand cheese 80s to SSs."
