At Flemington to-day Valieare did a record half-mile gallop in 48isec. Limerick cantered twice around and pulled up apparently well. At Caulfield Beedos did the best mile in lmin 47sec; Miss Disraeli a mile in lmin 47-Jsec.
Manfred was scratched for the Melbourne Cup at 10.30 this morning.
