MAGISTRATE'S COURT
Police cases in tho Magistrate's Court this morning w Tero dealt with by Mr. E. Page, S.M. Charged with having forg:d a cheque for fill, and with having knowingly caused J. Oliver to act upon it as if it were genuine, Michael Joseph M'Grath, an eloctrician, aged 40, was remanded to appear next Wednesday. For his sixth offence of drunkenness, William Patrick Lloyd, aged 42, was fined £2, in default seven days' imprisonment. A first offender was convicted and discharged.
