CANADIAN VISIT AKRANGED.

The chairman of the New Zealand Jfootball Association (Mr. A. Yarney) stated to-day that arrangements were now complete for the visit of a Canadian Soccer team during the. 1927 season. The Canadian Football Association has confirmed the N./^.F.A.'s suggestions, and promises to do its utmost to assure the success of the tour. The council is iuforaied that a team 100 per cent, stronger than that which visited Australia will be available for the New Zealand tour. The team will leave San Francisco on ISth Jlay, arriving in Wellington on 6th .Tune, and will remain in New Zealand for eight weeks, leaving Auckland, via Vancouver, on 2nd August. Soccer enthusiasts will be delighted at the prospect of this visit from a sister Dominion, in which the game has advanced very considerably during the last few years, culminating in a successful series of matches against a very strong English touring side a few months age;.
