THE ZENANA MISSION

The Rev. Dr. Carter, general secretary of the Zenana Bible and Medical Mission, arrived from WanganuL to-day, arid will deliver a lecture under the auspices of yie Wellington Ministers' Association to-mor-row (Wednesday) evening in St. John's Schoolroom, Willis street, at 7.45 o'clock, his subject being "India and Its People"; on Thursday evening, at 7.45 o'clock, he will lecture in the Kent Terrace Presbyterian Schoolroom, his subject being "Taking the Gospel to the Dark Homes of India." Both lectures will be illustrated with lantern slides. A welcome and ladies' missionary meeting will be held in the Kent Terrace Presbyterian Schoolroom to-morrow (Wednesday) afternoon, at 3 o'clock, at which the Rev. J, Baird, 8.A., will preside. All ladies interested are heartily invited.
