CAR GOES OVER BANK

WOMAN'S SKULL FBACTUBED.

Two people were injured and three badly shaken when a motor-car, in sworviug to pass another car, went over a bank two miles north of Paraparaumii at 1 o'clock yesterday afternoon. Mrs. Louis Cohen, of Wollincton who sustained a fractured skull, "and another occupant of the car, who suffered from cuts and shock, had to be taken to the Hospital. Mrs. Cohen was reported this afternoon to be in p, fairly satisfactory condition. Her injury is not serious. Mrs. Louis Cohen and Mrs. Cohen, sen., as well as another occupant of the car, escaped with minor abrasions. Dr. R. A. Cameron, of Paraparaumu, attended to their hurts before removing them to Wellington The hood of the car and tho windscreen were badly smashed, but tho chassis did not appear to have been damaged.
