The Legislative Council very materially reduced the size of its Order Paper, and the House of Bepresentatives agreed to the passage of the Veterinary Surgeons Bill, tho Lights on Vehicles Bill, the Local Elections and Polls Bill, and the Land Laws Amendment Bill. Chief interest centred on the passage- of the latter measure, its opponents, contending that it was a great mistake to part with tho national endowments. The House adjourned at 1.26 a.m.
