The Now Zealand Producers' Co-operalive Marketing Association, Ltd., havo received tho following cable from their London office, dated 20th August:—"Butter: Market slow. New Zealand, salted 172s to 1745, seconds 160s to Ui2s. unsalteil 172 st« 174 a: Australian. lOCS to 170s; Canadian, 165s to 168s; Argentine, 1483 to 160s; Irish, rG4s to 170s; Dutch, 160s to lMs: Danish. 17(is to 178s; Freuch, 3565 to 1625; Esthonlan, 1603 to 1645; Latvian, 156s to 100s; Siberian, 136s to 1445. At present afloat and discharging from New Zealand, Australia, and Argentine, 288,000 boxes. Germany taking much reduced quantities of Danish. . Cheeso: Market Blow. New Zealand, white 86s to S"s, coloured 83s to S4s, Canadian S4s to SSs."
The Bank of New Zealand, Produce Department, has received the following advice from its London office under date 20th August:—
"Butter: Quiet, 172s to 174s per cwt. Cheese Quietly steady. Coloured 33s to 83s per cwt white, 80s to 88s per cwt."
