LONDON FROZEN MEAT MARKET.
The Bank of New Zealand, Produco Department, has received tho following advice from its London office under date 20th August.
"Frozen Meat: Wether mutton is in little better demand. Ewes are quiet and unchanged. TUo market for lambs, is steady, and. no material change is expected yet. Tho beef market is depressed owing to heavy stocks of Argentine. Wethers, light 5%d to G%<l per Ib, heavy 5d to ny-el; ewea, 3%d to 4?id; lambs, 2's Sd to !)d S's 7%d to SY-i, 4's ~\i<l to Bd, seconds 7%el'ti> 8y 4 d; ox, hinds 5d to sVid, fores 3Vid to 3V"d: cow, hinds iMi to 4%d, fores 2%a to 2%d."
